“My only thought through-out the movie was that some dialogues are a bit meh even though some parts are literally taken from the book (and that's always good, you know). --”
“The Hound + Arya scenes ♡ Joffrey, I don't even know how to describe your attitude anymore. I'm sincerely happy we will finally get rid of you in a few episodes. And, by the way, only a man like Samwell Tarly could leave behind the only thing that ca...”
“Wow..just wow. At one point I was even sorry for detective Lance's certain death but then I was all like NO IT CAN'T BE MAKE HIM DIE AT HIS PLACE WAS THIS ACTUALLY NEEDED. Gonna miss his character for sure ):”
“Epic season finale is EFFIN' EPIC. I loved the revenge Elena had on Katherine (even if I'll admit I am a bit sorry for her but she was just being a psycho bitch) and WTF is happening with all the Silas' shit.”
“So much animal mistreatment in this episode that maybe now I get the title. And yeah, this season isn't doing bad at all. It could reach a high point towards its end.”
“Duh, white people problems. - I'm obviously not white, Tamra, come on. - And for the record, a person of color can have white people problems. - What about Jewish people? - Oh, big time. -- The last two minutes were totally screaming: ok, now go punch ...”
“What did you do? - It was Winston's idea. - Oh my God [..] Tell me everything, or so help me God, I will mess up your hair, your precious hair. -- Taylor Swift, you were lucky enough your part lasted, like, one minute? Because I was already crossing ou...”
“I want to kill someone? - Why? Did they cancel 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody'? -- Anyways, such a season finale. And this cupcake thing better go in the right way this time around.”
“NOW, WHY DON'T THEY MAKE UP THEIR MINDS WITH THE SOUNDTRACKS. The could've put the bear and the maiden fair during the ending titles and they put the rains of castamere instead? And I can't handle super-funny Ygritte and her jokes, by the way.”
“I love it when ghosts are back and they're all like 'oh come on shut up and hug me instead' but then Bonnie comes and uses her magic randomly and screws up everything AND YES SHE DIED THANK YOU GRANMA NOW”
Anyways, I think it's exclusively a movie for the eyes because of the exaggerating scenographies and costumes which are really taken to another level, an almost futuristic and disturbing one (so not really pertinent) because of the 'colorful carnival' they create when they're put together, and this ain't a surprise because of Luhrmann's habits. But, if you want to appreciate the book even more or if you haven't read it yet, watch the '74 (if you like a faithful adaptation best, obviously) version first and then this one which is really terrific when it comes to what's appealing to the eye. As for me, I'm going to rewatch it in english once more to appreciate entirely its beauty and maybe even enjoy the dialogues.
