What did you think? I'm planning on watching during my airplane trip next month

This was my second viewing actually. So it goes without saying I love it

I've posted different versions of this on Flickchart and the Blu-ray.com forums and now here when asked my opinion on Upstream Color:

Did you ever see Primer? Well, it's completely different. Still a brain exercise, but more along the lines of The Tree of Life... except more enjoyable to watch (at least for me). It was just really captivating. It's a beautiful film. It really made an impact and stuck with me for several days after, in a way most movies don't. I saw it in theatres and didn't hesitate to buy the Blu-ray a month later.

All that to say, I actually don't want to hype it up because it's pretty obscure at times and definitely not for everyone. But I'm really hoping Shane Carruth keeps making movies on a more frequent basis than 9 years apart (too bad about A Topiary).

Never heard of Primer, didn't see The Tree of Life either. Something for me to look up

Looked up Primer. Shane Carruth did EVERYTHING: star, direct, write, produce, editing and music. Did he also pull cables and do the catering? lol
