Season 2, Episode 4 - Aired 01/30/2012
This time the action moves to the Spanish gay mecca of Sitges for 'gaywatch'. Cara receives some expert help from the locals in trying to spot who is heterosexual and who is gay. The boy judged to be the straightest gets to enjoy a romantic dinner with Cara. The next test is a classic tug of war, but before it takes place Jameela delivers a surprise in the shape of two new beefy boys who join the show. The lads head to some local gay bars while Cara, disguised as a man, secretly looks on. The next day they board a trawler for a manly fish-gutting challenge which results in several green faces and a fair bit of vomiting before the all-important elimination spot.
Season 2, Episode 3 - Aired 01/23/2012
It's all about sex in Episode 3, and the remaining boys must win Cara over by laughing her into bed - the quickest to succeed wins a date with her the same evening. The next bra-lympics challenge ascertains who is the most adept at the fine art of removing lingerie when the boys have to undo four bras on different people while blindfolded. Their gentlemanliness is tested by a kissing challenge as they get to know each other more intimately. And finally Cara directs a cover shoot for a gay magazine with a huge collection of props and skimpy outfits. Will any of the boys lose focus and give the game away before elimination time?
Season 2, Episode 2 - Aired 01/16/2012
The game begins in earnest as the boys take on Spanish week. Kicking off with a tour of a Catalan sausage museum and then straight into the first task of competing in a cookery contest to decide who secures a date with Cara, while the losers face a Tomatina - a Spanish tradition which sees them pelted with rotten tomatoes. The second task - battle in fancy dress - awards the winner 10 minutes crucial pre-elimination persuasion time with her in order to prove they're heterosexual.
Season 2, Episode 1 - Aired 01/09/2012
Eleven boys and one girl arrive in Spain to participate in what they think is a show called 'Dream Date'. However, host Jameela Jamil soon shocks some of the participants with the revelation that they are actually taking part in Playing It Straight... Some of the guys are straight, and are here to try to win our girl Cara's heart. However, some of the guys are merely 'Playing It Straight' - they are actually gay but are out to deceive Cara into thinking that they're the right man for her. Over eight episodes the boys take part in a series of comedy challenges, all the time trying to win time alone with Cara in a bid to persuade her that they're the one for her. In each show, boys are eliminated from the game - but will Cara make the right choices? At the end of it all, if Cara chooses a straight boy they win £25k each. However, if she picks one of the gay guys, he will walk away with £50k, and she will win nothing. In the age of the 'metro-sexual', can Cara tell who's 'Playing It Straight'? For that matter, can we?
