Everybody finds him adorable, humorous and entertaining. However, the children realise that their father has his weaknesses too. He loves them so much that he can be too protective at times. Pak Kahar admits he will be the first person to feel sad if everybody in his family finds his house a boring place to live in. For his wife, Mak Sakinah, as long as they are her children, they are still under her charge. Sometimes, old values do clash with modern practices. At times, Pak Kahar needs to re-look at his own married life which needs his first attention regardless of his age and maturity. He reminds his wife that they need to get excited in life because love and marriage is an on-going process through trials and errors. So, when he decides to go for a 'third honeymoon' with his wife, it becomes an issue among their grown-up children. In the end, all his children know that a happy family is a healthy family. All things in life require a series of adjustments. People learn how to relate to each other on a different plane as they move through life. It is the art of communicating, compromising and understanding. It demands a lot of emotional strength. Pak Kahar's motto in life, "You are in charge of your own happiness". Edit
